1. Transportation Liability
How do we protect your cargo? Our liability is governed by the Carmack Amendment for domestic US transit and international conventions where applicable. At JW SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES LLC, we act as a broker or freight forwarder depending on the specific service agreement. It's critical to note that standard liability limits apply unless excess valuation is declared and purchased prior to dispatch.
We don't accept liability for "consequential damages," such as lost profits or factory downtime. Our responsibility begins when the bill of lading is signed and ends when the consignee accepts the shipment.
2. Website & Platform Usage
Our digital tracking platforms are provided "as-is." We've invested heavily in real-time data integration, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime due to the nature of satellite and cellular telematics. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
3. Service Agreements & Payments
Ever wondered why net-30 is the industry gold standard? We maintain strict payment schedules to ensure our carrier partners are compensated swiftly, fostering a healthier supply chain. Late payments may result in an 8% monthly service charge. All quotes are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issuance due to fluctuating fuel surcharges.
